Francois and Nathalie are serving the Lord as FMI missionaries in Strasbourg, France. They went there to plant Light of the Nations Church. Strasbourg is home to a university that attended by people from all over the world. Many of them find their way to Light of the Nations Church. They train and disciple people from many nations, including China, Germany, and Poland. The Gendrons also provide Cleansing Sream Ministry, bringing healing and deliverance to the spiritually and emotionally wounded and hurting.
The Dakases moved to Albania in 1991. Their ministry includes training indigenous Christians in developing their gifts to better share the gospel. Chris first received the vision for Albania in 1989. After three years of preparation, Chris and Laura moved to Tirana, Albania in 1991. Chris now serves as “National Representative” of Foursquare Albania. Chris and Laura’s ministry includes training indigenous Christians to better develop the gifts that God has given them so that they can have a greater impact upon Albania. They established the Stephen Center in 1993, which houses a computer training school, a printing press, a coffee shop, and the first Christian bookstore in Albania. All functions of the Center are designed to enhance the image of the Christian lifestyle in the minds of the Albanian people. Seventy percent of Albanians are Muslims but they are open to understanding and embracing the Christian faith when it is presented as a vital part of their community life.
Tiffany Mares has been serving full-time in San Pedro Sula, Honduras since January 2015. God has opened many doors for her to work alongside of pastors to train and support in outreach ministry. Whether working with her girls discipleship group, leading worship, preaching or ministering in the streets, Tiffany shares the light and love of Jesus with the people of Honduras. Currently, Tiffany’s ministry, Via Love International, is providing free dental care to 100 children.
The Moore’s are in a village called Yamp living among the Gumuz people. They operate a free clinic and work to develop and disciple pastors and churches to spread the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through Gumuz villages in Ethiopia.
Rod and Teresa Koop direct North Of Hope, a community development non-profit organization. Rod and Teresa work to make a difference in the lives of others, through practical ways and investing in projects that value and preserve culture and heritage. Having concluded significant projects that serve various native people groups in Alaska, North of Hope finds itself in a season of great opportunity. As Rod says, “Building capacity allows us to do more. We’re now poised to move into the future with purpose and expanded competence.”
Paul and Lori Vernon, along with their daughters Abigail and Izabel and their son Jak, are serving the Lord as FMI missionaries to the Akha people in Chiang Rai. Paul and Lori Vernon have lived and worked in the Chiang Rai province of Northern Thailand since February of 2005. They partner with Akha Outreach Foundation, one of Chiang Rai’s leading foundations associated with hill tribe welfare. In the past 50 years many of the Akha in Thailand have chosen to “walk the Jesus Road.” While the community of believers is strong in numbers, it still has many needs. They serve alongside the Akha people, offering support, encouragement and exhortation in their common journey on this earth – striving together to love God and love the people around them.
