“You are the God who sees me (El Roi).”
Genesis 16:13
Hagar called the Lord by this name because He saw her need in the wilderness and saved her life and the life of her son. When we’re parched, starving, exhausted, depleted, and lost in the desert we can feel abandoned and invisible. That’s when we need to lift up our praise together to the God who sees us. Our God has not abandoned us. We can trust Him and we praise Him for His care and provision.
Saturday, August 13, at 6 PM, you are invited to a special Night of Worship at NorthRock! Invite anyone you know who needs to be reminded that they’re not alone. There is a God who sees them and walks with them, even in the wilderness.
